Does Elon Musk have a Genius Plan to Save the US Dollar from Collapse?

Elon Musk is making waves again, this time with a dramatic statement about the U.S. economy on Twitter, or X. In response to a tweet from Billy Markus, the co-founder of Dogecoin, Elon declared:

“America is going bankrupt.”

Billy’s comment was a sarcastic jab at how his tax dollars are being used by the government. We’ve all noticed the slowdown in the U.S. economy, right?

Meanwhile, Tesla, Elon’s company, didn’t sell any of its $640,866,000 worth of Bitcoin during the second quarter.

For context, the GDP growth rate fell to 1.4% in the first quarter of 2024, a significant drop from 3.4% in the last quarter of 2023. Predictions for the third quarter are not much better, with growth expected to hover around 1%.
